Glass Cullet Properties
The properties of glass cullet depend very much on the form it is being used in. Glass cullet can be crushed or powdered, or simply melted down to form entirely new glass products. Glass cullet is usually sorted by size of the cullet, and demonstrates sometimes markedly different properties even between different sized grades of the same type of glass cullet.
Crushed glass cullet looks and behaves much like natural sand, and for this reason is often used in applications where natural sand was once used.
